Youngsters set for fundraising abseil

MEMBERS of the Darlington Area Churches Youth Ministry are preparing to abseil from St Cuthbert’s Church on Saturday (March 2), to raise funds for the group. About 50 young people are expected to take part, as well as church leaders including the Reverend Robert Williamson, vicar of St Cuthbert's, Phil Hillsdon, pastor of Kings Church and Linda Donaldson, minister of Darlington Baptist Tabernacle.
GYM OPENS: The gym in the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington town centre, reopens on Monday (March 4), following a month-long refurbishment.
MP’S TALK: Darlington MP Jenny Chapman will visit Teesside University’s Darlington campus on Friday (March 1) to hear about the work of Darlington Cares, an employer-led project which aims to promote volunteerism in the town.
