DARLINGTON Multiple Sclerosis Society has received a £1,600 boost from a Lions Club.
The money was raised through Darlington Lions Club’s annual craft fair at the Blackwell Grange Hotel and the Multiple Sclerosis Society will use it to help fund transport and aromatherapy session for its members.
The society has 144 members and covers Darlington and the surrounding district including Barnard Castle, Newton Aycliffe and Sedgefield.
It celebrated its 30th anniversary last year and has a continuing aim to provide support, advice and guidance to people with MS and their carers and families.
