Trial date for Darlington man accused of assault

ASSAULT CHARGE: A man appeared in court today (Tuesday, February 26) charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
Daniel Peel, 26, of Major Street, Darlington, denied the charge when he appeared at the town’s magistrates court.
The incident is believed to have happened in the early hours of October 28 last year in Darlington town centre.
His trial will be held at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on May 29 and Mr Peel was granted conditional bail.
