Woman charged with Whitby murder

A 22-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with the murder of a 32-year-old man who died at the weekend.
Police were called to what has been described as a domestic disturbance at Spring Hill Court in Whitby, North Yorkshire on Friday night.
A man had suffered chest injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police have today (Monday, February 25) identified the dead man as Gareth Brian Matthews, of Spring Hill Court.
Rebecca Dormer, of the same address, appeared at Scarborough Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
She will reappear at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday, February 27.
A 24-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident has been released without further police action.
