The Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Councillor Denise Bunn, is hosting a 1930s Vintage Tea Party to raise funds for her chosen charities. The event in Sunnyfield House, Westgate, Guisborough, takes place on Wednesday, March 13 at 2pm. There will be a raffle and tombola with entertainment provided by The Tea Ladies (CORR). COMEDY SHOW: Stand-up comedy returns to the big screen at Showcase Teesside with the showing of The Comedy Store: Raw and Uncut on Friday, March 8 at 10pm. PEDESTRIAN INJURED: A 30-year-old male pedestrian suffered a head injury after being involved in a collision with a silver Peugeot 206 on Yarm Lane in Stockton, opposite Aldi supermarket at around 4.30pm on Friday, February 22. The man was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment. Any witnesses are asked to contact PC Nigel Green of the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting reference number 31520.
