A BUSY artery road was brought to a standstill this morning following a two-vehicle crash.
A black Renault Clio and a silver Vauxhall Corsa collided on the westbound A66, between the Teesside Park and Thornaby turn-off, near Stockton-on-Tees, at about 9.45am.
The road was blocked while emergency vehicles attended and both cars were recovered.
The driver of the Corsa was taken to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough to be checked over but there were no other injuries.
