BIKERS from across the region are being invited to sign up in advance for Durham Police’s annual Easter egg run.

The charity motorcycle ride-out will take place on March 31, meeting at Carville park and ride off the A1(M) in Durham City from 8.45am for a 9.30am ride-out to hospitals in Darlington and Durham.

To avoid having to register on the morning, bikers wanting to take part can now register in advance at www.bikewise.org.uk

NOUVEAU: A masterclass in Art Nouveau is taking place at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle on March 1.

Artist Linda Birch will lead the session which will give participants the chance to create their own piece of jewellery in the Art Nouveau style.

The session will run from 10am to 4pm and booking is essential. Contact 01833 690606.
