Bloom fest: The cream of the nation’s rose growers will be heading to Pickering on July 13 and 14 when the town hosts a new rose festival. Organised by the British Isles Rose Society, the Ryedale Rose Festival will focus exclusively on one of the country’s favourite flowers.
Keeping moving: The Wheels 2 Work scheme operated by Ryedale Community Transport to help people get to work of college has taken delivery of 15 new scooters. It was helped by grants from the district and county council, along with the National Lottery.
