FUNDRAISING GIG A night featuring performances by Shaz Mellis and Tyrone Coomber will be hosted at the SkyBlueRed Studio in Guisborough on Saturday February 23 to raise money for the studio and art gallery, which works with local community groups and offers work experience to those with learning disabilities. Tickets are £2 and available from the SkyBlueRed Studio on Church Street in Guisborough.
COMEDY NIGHT Stockton’s Café Infinity will celebrate Red Nose Day 2013 with the launch of a new comedy night that will showcase up-and-coming performers from the North East. Funny @ Infinity will take place on Friday March 15. Tickets are £5, with £3 from every sale being donated to Comic Relief. Doors open at 7pm and places can be booked at the café or by calling 01642-943943.
TRIM TRAIL A ‘trim trail’ set up in Middlesbrough’s Stewart Park will feature six stations spread out around the park, each focusing on a different work-out activity. The trail was designed by Middlesbrough Council’s Active Parks team in order to encourage families to keep in shape while enjoying the great outdoors.
