Weekend of celebrations to mark church milestone

A WEEKEND of celebration will be held on Saturday (February 23) and Sunday, to mark 80 years of worship at Elm Ridge Methodist Church, in Carmel Road South.
It will include an exhibition of black and white photographs, as well as guided tours of the grounds.
A concert featuring Darlington Choral Society and Youth Choir will take place on Saturday evening.

DOG FOULING: Darlington residents are encouraged to report incidents of persistent dog fouling to Darlington Borough Council. Fixed penalty fines of £75 can be issues to people who fail to pick up after their pets.
