POLICE have turned to the public for help after a piece of machinery was stolen from a village near Northallerton.

The JCB tele-handler – used widely in agriculture and industry – was taken from a property in Low Worsall between 1pm and 3pm last Thursday, February 14.

The digger-like vehicle is yellow and has the registration number MX10CSF.

PC Quita Passmore said: “If you have any information about this theft I ask you to contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.

“I am particularly keen to speak anyone who may have seen the tele-handler since it was stolen or may have been offered in for sale and ask them to get in touch,”

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Northallerton police on 101, select option two and ask for Quita Passmore.
