Court date for man who kicked victim in town centre attack

CRAIG Swainson, of Helmsley Moor Way, Darlington, will be sentenced at Teesside Crown Court on a date to be fixed after pleading guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The 21-year-old kicked his victim twice on a night out in Darlington town centre in August last year, leaving him with a loss of vision in his left eye and fractures to his skull.
Swainson appeared at Darlington Magistrates' Court yesterday (Thursday, February 14) and was given unconditional bail.
