Art exhibition raises more than £300

A CHARITY art exhibition and auction raised £380 to help send a poorly youngster to Disneyland.

Ellie Pattinson organised Wednesday’s event at The George Hotel in Piercebridge and wants to thank all the artists involved.

The money will go to the Dreams Come True charity to send a quadriplegic teenager from Middlesbrough to Disneyland.

Artist Deborah Sisk was voted winner of the exhibition.

CRIME: A Police and Communities Together (Pact) meeting is being held on February 19 at the West Park Academy, Darlington.

It will run between 6pm and 7pm to give residents the chance to air their crime and community concerns.
