12:18pm Friday 15th February 2013 in News
NORTH Yorkshire chef Stephanie Moon is to appear in BBC Two’s Great British Menu next week.
The consultant chef at Rudding Park, in Harroagate, is competing in the North-East regional heat, which will be broadcast from Monday (February 18) to Friday, February 22.
This year the Great British Menu is linked with Comic Relief.
The high-profile chef was set the challenge of helping celebrate 25 years of Red Nose Day with her dishes. The winning food will be served to guests at a banquet at The Royal Albert Hall.
Stephanie has created a Comic Relief Afternoon Tea menu at Rudding Park, which includes cherry scones and red nose truffles.
The Menu Relief Afternoon Tea is available at the Clocktower restaurant from February 18 to 28 for £20 per person, £4 of which goes to Comic Relief.
