Stockton youngsters asked to name new consultation service
4:16pm Thursday 14th February 2013 in News By Joanna Morris
A COMPETITION to name a new consultation service for young people is underway.
Youngsters in Stockton are being encouraged to have their say on a range of issues through a new young residents’ panel.
Participants, who should be aged between ten and 19, can get involved in the decisions affecting their local area and speak up for other young people. They will also receive credits for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Potential members can get involved now by entering a competition to name the panel. The only restriction is that the name should be no more than three words long and should clearly say what it is about.
The competition ends at midnight on Sunday, March 3. The winner will receive an iPad Mini.
