Snowball damage in Stokesley

Several cars were damaged and High Street windows smashed in Stokesley, by people throwing snowballs last month. At a meeting of Great Ayton Parish Council on Tuesday, February 12, councillors heard how police received a number of reports of damage in Great Ayton and Stokesley on January 21 and 22.

DOMINO DRIVE: Kirbymoorside Bowling Club will be holding a domino drive in the club house on Saturday (January 13) at 7.30pm.

OLD CARS RAISING MONEY: The NSPCC in York is asking people to donate their old vehicles if considering buying a new car. The charity is asking people to donate old cars to Giveacar, which has helped raise £21,000 by accepting unwanted vehicles, auctioning them and donating the proceeds to charity. The money is used to fund community-based centres to help more children and families.
