FAREWELL TRIP: Outgoing Lord Lieutenant of County Durham, Sir Paul Nicholson, will visit Darlington Town Hall on Friday, February 22, at 2pm, for a farewell visit. He will be succeeded by Sue Snowdon, in March. Darlington mayor Paul Baldwin will be in attendance.
ON STAGE: James and the Giant Peach will be staged at Darlington Civic Theatre from Tuesday, March 5 to Saturday, March 9. The production is suitable for children aged five and over. CHURCH FUN: A range of activities aimed at children in school year six and upwards will be held at St Matthew and St Luke’s Church, in Brinkburn Road, Darlington, on Sunday, February 24, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Activities include games, music and prayer.
