CRIME prevention will be on the agenda at a police event this weekend.
A Winter Nights roadshow will be held at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 16 from 2pm to 4pm. Police Community Support Officers will be on hand to offer advice on crime prevention and how to get involved in Neighbourhood Watch.
POLICE MEET: A Police and communities together (Pact) meeting for Pierremont will take place at Pierremont Methodist Church, in Vancouver Street, Darlington, tomorrow (Thursday, February 14) from 6pm until 7pm.
GARDEN CLUB: The next meeting of Darlington Amateur Gardening Club will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 20, at Bondgate Methodist Church, in Winston Street, Darlington. The meeting will include a talk by Cath Proud on the plants and flowers of Central America.
The event is £2 for members and £3 for non-members and includes coffee and biscuits. All are welcome.
