SNOWDROP DAY: On Sunday 24 February, between 1pm and 3pm, Gisborough Priory Gardens will host its annual Snowdrop Sunday. Visitors will be able to stroll through the gardens and see the blooming flowers. There will be tea, coffee and home-made cakes available to sample during the afternoon as well as plenty of information about the history of the gardens and new developments. All the money raised will go towards the continuing volunteer-led garden restoration scheme.
CRAFT FAIR: The first fortnightly Craft Fairs of the year at Middlesbrough’s Stewart Park takes place on Sunday, March 17 from 11am to 3pm in the new Bolckow Visitor Centre. The fairs will then be held on alternate Sundays throughout the year right up to Christmas. All are welcome to attend and enjoy a variety of stalls including handmade cards, cupcakes, baby gifts, chocolate, jewellery, scented candles, handmade furniture and picture frames. For the fortnightly fairs, stall-holders are on site from 10am. Pitches are £25 each – for more information or to book call Nicky Morgan on 01642-515643 or email nicola_morgan@middlesbrough.gov.uk
