YOUNGSTERS from a local school are helping to give an unusual twist to a traditional panto story.

Cinders at the Circus adds a Big Top element to the well-known Cinderella story.

For the past six weeks director Beryl Smith has been training a group of pupils from Ainderby Steeple C of E School in preparation for the Morton Amateur Dramatic Society’s pantomime this half term.

The clown troupe has tackled circus skills such as juggling, plate spinning and fire swirling and will join adult members of MADS for performances on February 21, 22 and 23 at the school.
