HOSPITAL BUG: Five wards remain closed to visitors at York Hospital following an outbreak of the Norovirus infection. Chief nurse Libby McManus said: “Currently we have five wards closed, however the virus has reached its peak in some wards so the situation is gradually improving.” She added: “We continue to urge people who have been unwell not to visit the hospital until they have been free of symptoms for 48 hours.”
