Police investigate York death

Police are questioning a 46-year-old man following the death of a woman in York. Paramedics called police to a house in the Bishophill Junior area of York on Saturday (February 9) where they were trying to resusitate a woman in her forties. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police arrested a man who was in the house at the time. The man has been questioned and released on bail. Details of the woman’s identity have not been released.
