THE Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, County Durham, is offering a rare opportunity for visitors to enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of its picture store, as part of the BBC Your Paintings campaign. The tours, which will be led by the museum’s keeper of fine art, Emma House from 2.30pm on Tuesday, February 12, are included in the admission cost but places are limited and must be booked on 01833 690606.
