Darlington and Stockton Times: X FACTOR WINNER: James Arthur X FACTOR WINNER: James Arthur

X FACTOR star James Arthur has been added to the line up of North East Live, which is set to be the biggest pop show ever staged in the region.

Sunderland’s Stadium of Light will host the event and the Middlesbrough-born star will join a fantastic bill of acts already confirmed for the show, including JLS, The Wanted, Rita Ora, Lawson, Conor Maynard, Stooshe and Union J.

The confirmation of James Arthur completes a trio of acts with a regional flavour, with Amelia Lily and Little Mix also set to star.

Speaking about the forthcoming show James said: “I'm really looking forward to North East Live, playing to such a big home crowd will be amazing!”
