TWO people accused of attacking a man who has since died have now been charged with his murder.
Keith Wright, 50, was attacked in Acomb, York, on January 21 and died in hospital ten days later after being on a life support machine.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, 19-year-old Liam Matthew Wyard and a 16-year-old youth who cannot be named for legal reasons, have now been charged jointly with Mr Wright’s murder.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on February 14.
