A HOSPICE charity is offering a scenic treat this Mother’s Day with a ride on the Wensleydale Railway.
Herriot Hospice Homecare is organising an afternoon train ride including a tour through the heart of Wensleydale, form Leeming Bar to Redmire, near Leyburn, on Sunday, March 10.
The ride will include afternoon tea and all proceeds raised will go towards the charity’s care to terminally-ill patients who wish to remain in their own homes in Hambleton and Richmondshire.
The rain will depart at noon from Leeming Bar and return at 2.40pm.
