AN artist will stage a paper craft exhibition inspired by her voluntary work on archaeological digs.
Kimberli Werner’s first solo exhibition at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre, near Thirsk, said as she cut through layers of card stock, a landscape, reminiscent of her archaeological experiences appeared.
The Thirsk-based greetings card designer has produced a series of trench artworks, which will be displayed alongside some of the animal silhouettes for which she is already recognised.
Echoes of Striation, which will open on Tuesday (February 12), will also complement the Lime and Ice Project, the landscape heritage of the south-west corner of the North York Moors National Park which opened at the centre last year.
