Exercise classes for the over 60s in east Cleveland

EXERCISE CLASSES: An east Cleveland exercise class has restarted after an extended Christmas and New Year break. The class provides gentle exercise for people over 60 years with a range of simple equipment including small weights, stretchy bands, mini-trampoline, cycling and stepping machines. The classes are held every Monday from 11am until 12.30pm in the Community Room of Sir William Turner's Almshouses in Kirkleatham village, near Redcar, and cost £1 including refreshments. PANCAKE INVITE: A Shrove Tuesday pancake event will be held at Boosbeck Community Centre from 3pm to 5pm next week. All are welcome to attend. There will be stalls including a tombola, cake stall and a raffle.
