Views sought on changes to roundabout on Cargo Fleet Lane

VIEWS SOUGHT: The public are being asked to give their opinion on plans to move a roundabout at the junction of Cargo Fleet Lane and Ormesby High Street in Middlesbrough and replace it with traffic signals. The plans can be viewed at redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/junctionimprovement. Residents can voice their views at events held at Ormesby Library on Thursday, February 7 and Thursday, February 14 (10am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm) and at Ormesby Club and Institute on Tuesday, February 12 and Tuesday, February 19 from 10am to 4pm. Comments can also be emailed to Stephen.wells@arup.com.

OPEN DAY: St Timothy’s Church in Hemlington is holding an open day on Saturday, February 23 from 10am to 3pm featuring free activities and refreshments including hot dogs, pancakes, a book stall and a bouncy castle.

ARTIST SYMPOSIUM: A panel of artists and experts will be on hand to share ideas about being a DIY artist in the current economic climate at Middlesbrough’s Platform A gallery tomorrow (Thursday February 7) from 5.30pm to 7pm.
