A PENSIONER had to flee her home following an arson attack on a nearby car.
The woman, in her seventies, was forced to leave her property for a night when the resulting fire spread close to her address. Gas at the premises also had to be turned off.
The car was set alight on the driveway of an address on Honey Way in Stockton at about midnight on Thursday, January 24 into Friday, January 25.
The vehicle was extensively fire damaged during the incident, which is believed to have been the result of a deliberate arson attack.
