Thieves carry out food on a tray at cafe break-ins

THIEVES broke into a cafe and stole food which they carried out on a large tray.
Large amounts of food and drink were stolen from two cafes in York over Sunday, January 27 and Monday, January 28.
The thieves broke into Dyl’s Cafe Bar on Skeldergate Bridge and Hartley’s Cafe on Lendal Bridge.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious at that time to contact them on 101 and ask for Amy Littlejohns or York City and East Safer Neighbourhood Team.
