Meeting to form new local group for Amnesty International

AMNESTY GROUP: THE inaugural meeting of a new local group of Amnesty International is to be held on Wednesday, February 13 at 7.15pm to form this group. Anyone interested in finding out more should meet at Stockton Unitarian Church, Wellington Street, TS18 1QQ. Free Tea and coffee will be served. CHARITY CONCERT: The Hartlepool Male Voice Choir and Hartlepool Ladies’ Choir will perform together in a concert in the town’s Borough Hall on Saturday, April 20 at 7.30pm. Money raised from the concert will go to seven local charities which Hartlepool Council Chairman, Councillor Stephen Akers-Belcher, has chosen to support during his year in the post.
