Walkabout in Harrowgate Hill identifies parking and litter as a concern

POLICE and councillors from the Harrowgate Hill area of Darlington have carried out a visual inspection of the ward to look for issues affecting residents.

The environmental visual audit, which was also attended by two members of the public, found the two main concerns for the area were littering and obstructive parking.

The group will contact landlords to clear the litter problems their properties are causing, while motorists who park inconsiderately will told that they are blocking a public highway and must move.
