SCHOOL FUNDS: A Winter Wonderland Ball organised by the Friends of Pickhill School, has raised £2,830 towards school activities. The ball was held at Solberge Hall near Northallerton.

FILM SHOW: A film night is to be held at Pickhill School next Friday, February 15, from 5pm until 7pm. Children aged 12 and under are welcome to the screening of the animated feature Brave. A donation of £4 per child to include popcorn, ice creams and drinks can be made. Funds raised will go towards school activities.

QUIZ FUN: A quiz night and raffle are to be held at the Nags Head in Pickhill on February 24 from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 per person and include a light supper. Money raised will be used by for local school activities and equipment.
