Man exposed himself to young boy in Redcar

INDECENT EXPOSURE: Police are appealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself to a 12 year old boy in Redcar. The youngster was pushing his pedal bike near the Methodist Church junction of Mersey Road and Troutbeck Road between 5pm and 5.30pm last Wednesday (January 30). He was approached by a man in his late 20s or early 30s wearing grey jogging bottoms and a dark top. The man was wearing square framed glasses and had ginger hair. The suspect spoke in a strong Scottish accent and followed the boy along Mersey Road towards Roseberry Road as the boy made his way home unharmed. Anyone who saw the suspect or witnessed the incident is asked to contact PC Jeff Cockerill of Redcar Neighbourhood Policing Team on the non emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
BUS ATTACKED: Police are appealing for information after youths smashed a glass door on a bus as it travelled through Hartlepool with passengers on board. The bus was travelling along Eskdale Road in Hartlepool on Thursday, January 31 at 3.40pm, when three boys walked towards the bus and threw stones at the door, causing the window to shatter and the driver to perform an emergency stop. The youths are described as white, aged 10-12 years old, around 4 ft 10 ins tall, with brown hair, and wearing dark school blazers with one of them wearing grey trousers.
