CHARITY bikers will be getting hot under the collar at a fiery fundraiser next month.
Four mountain bikers from across the region will be tackling the world-famous 7 (CORRECT) Stanes mountain bike trails in Scotland in seven days later this year to raise money for Darlington Mind, Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity, and Cash for Kids.
As part of their ongoing fundraising effort, the team – dubbed Team Knightrider – will be holding a curry night at Darlington Central Working Men’s Club, in Beaumont Street, on Saturday, March 2 at 7pm.
The Star of Bengal Indian restaurant, in Gladstone Street, will be cooking up the feast and tickets are £15, which includes entry into a prize draw.
Tickets are available from teamknightrider@techie.com or by visiting facebook.com/teamknightrider
Anybody who can donate prizes are asked to get in touch with the team on the above email address.
The team are also appealing for any bike specialists who can donate bikes or equipment for the cyclists to use on their fundraising mission in July to get in touch.
