WORLD traveler Catherine Hooper is giving an illustrated presentation at Carmel College, Darlington on Monday.
Ms Hooper’s presentation will start at 7.45pm on February 11 and is part of a series organised by the Darlington Lecture Association.
PACT: An extraordinary PACT - Police and Communities Together – meeting is taking place at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Friday.
Officers will be available between 1pm and 4pm to discuss residents’ crime concerns.
ROCK: The Meat Loaf Story, starring former Stars in their Eyes contestant Steve Steinman, will be performed at Darlington Civic Theatre on February 21.
The show starts at 7.30pm and promises to deliver much loved hits from Meat Loaf’s back catalogue of albums.

LITTER: A police walkabout round the Harrowgate Hill area has indentified litter and parking obstructions as the two main neighbourhood issues.
Police are asking Darlington Borough Council to provide details of the landlords of properties where litter is a problem so that action can be taken, and residents are being reminded not to cause obstructions when they park.
FERAL: The Darlington and Wear Valley Cats Protection charity is appealing for people to feed and capture feral cats after an increase in the numbers seen starving to death.
The charity promotes the Trap Neuter Return policy which involves capturing feral cats, neutering them and releasing them back into the wild.
Anybody who can help the charity by donating cat food or who would like more information on dealing with feral cats is asked to email catwomanmaz@gmail.com
CHARITY: Tickets for a Darlington race night in aid of two North-East autism charities are now on sale.
The event, on April 27, will raise funds for the Darlington-based Education Centre for Children with Down Syndrome and the North East Autism Society.
It is being held at the Cockerton Club and will star Newcastle band The Zoos.
