Pub receives top marks for cleanliness

The Queen’s Head in Stokesley has received top marks for its hygiene standards. The pub, situated on the High Street, was awarded five stars by North Yorkshire County Council’s environmental health department, the highest level that can be achieved.
MUSIC NIGHT: A Country and Western concert with Gary Perkins is to take place at Thirsk and Sowerby Town Hall on Friday, February 15. Tickets are £6 and available on the door or from Thirsk Tourist Information centre, White Rose Books or the Artist’s Palette in the town. Doors open 7.30pm for an 8.30pm start.
