A MOTHER who has written North Yorkshire's answer to the best-selling erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, has had her book published.
Sandra Holtby says she dreamt the storyline to her first book, Treat Her Like a Virgin, which she describes as a “raw and raunchy” novel.
Mrs Holtby, who lives near Stokesley with her husband and children, says she was encouraged by a friend to convert her dream into literature.
She was inspired by the recent surge in interest in erotic fiction, sparked by global bestseller, Fifty Shades of Grey.
Treat Her Like A Virgin tells the story of Alexis Rose, who leaves North Yorkshire for New York, where she meets “playboy Gino” and is introduced to a more glamorous world.
Mrs Holtby said she intended it to be the beginning of a series of novels.
“I don’t want to reveal too much about what I have up my sleeve, but let’s just say that my readers aint’ seen nothing yet."
“This is just the beginning of a string of books that will have hairs standing up on the backs of their necks, see their hearts beat a little faster and bring them to the edge of their seat with every chapter.”
The novel has been published by Quoin Publishing and is available on Amazon.
