LENT CLASSES: A series of discussion groups for Lent will be held at Grange Road Baptist Church, next to Sainsbury’s in Darlington, on the theme ‘Living the life God promised’. The classes will start on Thursday, February 14, at 2.30pm or 7.30pm, and will continue each Thursday at the same times until March 21.
GROUP WALK: The Darlington Ramblers will take part in an eight mile walk around Spennymoor on Sunday, February 3, at 10.30am. Walkers can meet at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College at 9.45am or at Spennymoor Town Hall car park at 10.30am. Call 01325-321049 for details.
CHURCH SERVICE: Morning worship at Northgate United Reform Church, in Northgate, Darlington, will be led by the Rev Stanley Jackson on Sunday, February 3, starting at 10.45am.
