Updated 4:42pm Wednesday 30th January 2013 in News
A ROADSHOW for concerned about public transport provision will be held in Darlington next month.
The Community Transport Association (CTA) event will be held at Morton Park, from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 13.
A CTA spokesman said: “Is getting from A to B a challenge? Are you in a rural or isolated location without public transport?
“Are you part of a Community group that needs a transport solution?
“If the answer is yes, then don’t miss the CTA roadshow in Darlington.
“The roadshow will look at transport developments and concerns, providing an opportunity to debate current topics and find out about the latest updates on community transport policy, planning, funding and delivery in the regions.”
The agenda for the event includes presentations on national policy issues including the opening up of public service delivery and how we can raise standards in community transport with updates on CTA services.
The roadshow is free, includes lunch and you do not have to be a CTA member to attend.
