COUNTY Durham Youth Offending Service has received an award in recognition of its work with volunteers.
It is the first Durham County Council service to achieve an Investing in Volunteers Quality Standard.
Gill Eshelby, strategic manager with the service, said: “It reflects the high quality of our volunteers, the excellent work they do, and our investment in them. It’s a real privilege.”
