CORONERS APPEAL: Family members of 62-year-old Terence Oates of St Paul’s Court, Stockton are being asked to come forward following his death on Sunday, January 27. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. Family members are asked to contact the Coroners Office on 01642-303467.

MAINTENANCE WORK: Thornaby Library and the Customer Services Centre at Stockton Central Library will be closed next weekend (Friday, February 8 to Sunday, February 10) for essential maintenance work on Stockton Council’s ICT network. The council’s customer service phone lines will also be out of operation during this time.

DOG FOULING: Following the conviction of a woman who allowed her dog to foul Hartlepool’s North Cemetery, the town’s residents are being urged to ensure they clean up after their pets or face prosecution. A fixed penalty notice of £80 will be issued to anyone caught and failure to pay that fine can result in court action.
