Barnard Castle mayor nominated for Police and Crime Commissioner community panel

CRIME PANEL: Barnard Castle mayor, Councillor Frank Harrison, was nominated to serve on the proposed local Police and Crime Commissioner community panel. A meeting of Barnard Castle Town Council was told the panels were deligned to replace the former police consultative committees, which were scrapped following the crime commissioner elections.
GARDEN PARTY: Councillor John Blissett, deputy mayor of Barnard Castle, has been put forward to attend a royal garden party in late spring. Barnard Castle Town Council was told if chosen, Coun Blissett would attend the event on May 30.
TAP MEETING: The next board meeting of Teesdale Action Partnership will take place on Wednesday, February 13. It will take place at Winston Village Hall, starting at 6pm, and members of the public are welcome to attend.
