Darlington man in court accused of burgling electricity substation

A MAN has appeared in court charged with the burglary of an electricity substation.

Richard Stamper, 39, of Carlton Moor Crescent, Darlington, is said to have entered the substation on Henson Road and stolen cable of an unknown value on October 18 last year.

Mr Stamper did not enter any pleas and the case was adjourned until February 12. He was granted unconditional bail.
