VALENTINE TRIP: Romance on the rails is on the cards for a heritage railway which is reopening services for 2013 with a special Valentines trip Wensleydale Railway has been off the tracks for major maintenance work but starts running services again on Saturday, February 16th. One of the first events is a buffet lunch for love struck travellers on a Valentine Special. Tickets are £20 each with many pairs already sold. The service runs along 16 miles of the original 22 mile line from Northallerton to Garsdale in the heart of Wensleydale, the current track takes visitors from Leeming Bar through Leyburn to Redmire.
