A RACING team based at Catterick Garrison that helps rehabilitate injured soldiers will benefit from the fundraising efforts of a fashionista turned charity cyclist.
Nancy Atkinson-Turner, who writes for the Huffington Post and claims she has "more accessories than she will ever wear", is swapping the glamour of her day job to cycle the length of Britain to raise money for the Mission Motorsport racing team.
Ms Atkinson-Turner, who lives in Portsmouth, will start her journey at the Knockhill racing circuit in Scotland on April 14 and finish at the Goodwood circuit in Chichester on April 28 after cycling more than 500 miles.
She will visit the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire en-route and is raising money for Catterick’s Mission Motorsport team which helps forces personnel who are suffering from physical or mental injuries by getting them involved in a Mazda racing team.
