COMEDIANS are taking to the stage in a comedy marathon to raise money for a North-East hospice.
Ten of the region’s best comedians will showcase their latest material at the charity fundraiser at The Forum Music Centre, in Darlington, on Thursday, January 31 to raise funds for The Butterwick Hospice, which provides support to those with life-limiting illnesses.
Those taking part in the event, which is in association with Hilarity Bites Comedy Club, include Ray Bradshaw, Steffen Peddie, Andy Fury, Danny Deegan and Dave Twentyman.
Director of The Forum, Allison McKay, said: “We are a community interest company therefore it is an honour to host such a fantastic event and to raise money for Butterwick.”
The show will be filmed and posted on the websites of the comedians taking part to give fans a preview of their live shows.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets are £8. They can be bought by calling 01325-363135 or from hilaritybites.co.uk
