TWO women have been arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis in a house in Darlington.
Following an anonymous tip-off on Saturday, January 26, police officers searched a property in Charles Street, in Darlington, where they found more than 45 cannabis plants and growing equipment in a bedroom.
The women, one aged 22, the other in her mid-40s, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and released on bail pending further enquiries.
