Flood water sees golf course partially closed

THE front eight holes at Stressholme Golf Course, in Darlington, were closed on Monday (January 28), because of flooding. The remaining ten were playable. Darlington Borough Council, which runs the course, apologised for any inconvenience caused.
SOLD OUT: A fundraising race night in support of Darlington Football Club, on Saturday, February 9, at the Cleveland Bridge Social Club, in Neasham Road, has now sold out.
